Through Gentle Eyes – Debbie
Debbie is a spayed female, roughly 4 years old, with a beautiful calico coat and limited vision that gives her a shy, delicate demeanor. She came to the rescue as a TNR candidate, but we quickly fell in love with her and knew she belonged indoors, safe and cherished. Though mostly blind and a bit timid, Debbie has a very gentle, loving nature that shines when she feels secure. In a calm, quiet environment, Debbie has the potential to flourish and become the biggest snuggle bug. She may be shy at first, relying on her other senses to feel safe, but with patience and understanding, she’ll reward you with soft purrs and quiet affection. Debbie won't ask for much — just a cozy spot and a person who understands that trust takes a little time.
Debbie will do best in a peaceful, low‑stress home where she can feel safe and loved. She is comfortable with other cats and can be tested with dogs upon inquiry.
The 3–3–3 rule (3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months) is a helpful guideline for cat adoption, suggesting it takes roughly 3 days for a cat to decompress, 3 weeks to adjust to their new routine, and 3 months to feel fully settled. Be patient, and Debbie will show you the beauty of quiet, loyal love.
