Meet Meadow & Josie – Soul Sisters in Search of Their Sunset Home

Some bonds go beyond blood — they’re built over years of shared naps, soft purrs, and warm windows. Meadow and Josie have been each other’s world for over a decade, and after losing their beloved person in January 2025, they’re looking for a home where they can stay together and feel safe, loved, and understood.

Meadow is a delicate white-and-grey fluffball, about 15 years old and tiny as a whisper — at maybe 6 pounds. She’s profoundly deaf and has mild cataracts in both eyes, but what stands out most is her calm, angelic presence. Though she lives with chronic pain, she navigates the world with gentle grace. She prefers not to be picked up, and will kindly set her own boundaries, but when you’re in her circle of trust, you’ll find one of the sweetest souls you’ve ever met.

Josie, at 17, is older yet the more sprightly of the two — a sleek grey girl with mesmerizing green eyes and a patient, watchful spirit. She seems to understand Meadow’s limits, often waiting quietly until her sister has had her fill of affection before softly meowing or reaching out to let you know it's her turn. You’d never guess her age, her loving nature are timeless.

Together, they are:

Deeply bonded and must be adopted together

Low-key, calm, and ideal for a quiet home

Gentle reminders that love doesn’t fade with age.

These girls don’t need much — just a soft spot to curl up, a little patience, and someone who understands the beauty of caring for senior animals. Could you be the final chapter in their lifelong story of love?
